This is the experience of encountering a dragonfly. By using stripes that curve on mathematical tangents along with the dragonfly inspiration, I show the influence of the natural world on my work. It is a painted connection to nature, both festive and sacred. The side panels are slanted canvasses of variable depths which contribute to the illusion of soaring.
