Body/Building 1

The Body/Building analog collage series captures bodies in the act of consuming leisure. As I give expression to my environmental anxieties and to the disintegration of built structures from over-tourism or war (all rooted in the consumption of fuel that facilitates the leisure economy), I am also attuned to the formal interplay between the body’s geometries and buildings’ distinctive architectural elements, and to the allusions that certain building features (lights, windows, beams) make to human anatomy.
